Support for Mobility of International Students to NTNU - II
Funded by the Linde's Global Giving Program through Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) America
In 2025, Linde's Global Giving program awarded NTNU's Department of Chemical Engineering a grant to support student scholarships within the Master's programme in Sustainable Chemical and Biochemical Engineering (MSCHEMBI). The funding enabled talented international students to take part in the programme, strengthening its internationalization following the introduction of tuition fees in 2023. Students engaged in coursework and research spanning sustainable chemical process design, green and renewable energy technologies, sustainable health, and environmental solutions such as resource recovery and pollution mitigation — areas central to addressing future industry and societal challenges. Beyond supporting individual students, the grant contributed to a stronger academic environment at NTNU, encouraging research collaboration, new ideas, and innovation, while helping equip the next generation of engineers with the knowledge needed to drive progress in sustainable technologies.
